About Coaching
Coaching is a guided process that helps you uncover, hone, and use your individual strengths. The ADHD brain has definite superpowers, but to use it you must understand it. Coaching helps you untangle, identify, understand, and amplify these brainy assets, so that you can work with your brain instead of against it.

It starts with a free Consultation Call in which we get to know each other a little bit and talk about your situation. If we decide to proceed, we next do a 90-minute Strategy and Planning Session. That’s where we dig into what you want to work on based on your goals, strengths, and values.
After that, it’s regular, structured one hour sessions focused (yes, focused!) on our plan for you stepping into your brainy superpowers.
For every session, if you’re comfortable with it, I will send you automatically generated summary, takeaways, and bulleted action items.

Both are great, and there is some overlap, but they are distinct: Therapy often focuses on healing past experiences. Coaching, by contrast, is future-focused. Coaching equips you with the tools, techniques, and mindset you need to achieve your goals in a way that’s best suited to you and your unique self!
There’s a diagram later on this page that shows the difference between counseling, consulting, coaching, and mentoring.

Nope!
I specialize in working with people with ADHD and struggle with executive function (EF). EF is how we regulate emotions, initiate tasks, organize, plan, and focus. If you’ve not been formally diagnosed but you struggle with something that feels like ADHD, I can help.

Yes! Coaching packages come with real-time support. Voxer is a (free) “walkie-talkie” app that you can use to text or voice chat with me. No appointment needed. Need some accountability on the spot? A bit of validation? A reminder of what you’re all about? Well, that’s how we do it!
Also — Voxer generates a transcription so you can reference our chat later on. ✏️
Won’t that get annoying?
Not at all. It’s part of the fun! I’ll reply when I’m able, either right away or same day at the latest. If you send me a thought at 4am, that’s totally fine. I’ll respond once I start my day. ☀️

No, but I do recommend it! A package helps you commit to this work on a consistent basis, and that on-demand, real-time support is totally worth it.
If a package is not on the cards right now, we can do a weekly session, biweekly, monthly… we will find something that works for you, your schedule. and your budget. -

@nope @nothanks.
I also don’t publish a newsletter, a blog, or anything for you to unsubscribe from. I have ADHD and so do you; best to keep it simple.
In addition, we’re all about owning our time and using it intentionally for the things that matter to us.
Alright, if you insist… here is my Instagram.
The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
This infographic derived from David Rock's book Quiet Leadership shows where coaching fits into the continua of asking v. telling, witha a focus on problem v. solution.
A coach asks you the right questions to get to your solutions. I am here to help you be the best you you can be: the most magnificent go-getter, the most scholarly scholar, or maybe just a you that’s not overwhelmed. Whatever it is (and maybe you need a free consultation call to explore that a bit), we can talk about it and see what we can do together.
